Meet Flavia

How would you define your poetics?

I am inspired by daily life and all its aspects. That includes the micro and the macro world I cohabit in.

Can you describe your creative process?

As a collage artist and illustrator, my process begins by collecting imagery and creating some sort of meaning in reconstructing images.

What's in the "room of your own" where you create your artworks?

I live and work in my studio flat in north London. I love being on my own and having my space, even if its tiny. Luckily, I am also a tiny woman :)

What keeps you inspired and motivated?

Walking around the city and observing people, nature, and the chaotic movement of the city. General...the life itself...as for good or bad as it is.

How do you think projects like Tits’n’Tales can make a difference?

I truly believe we need more and more spaces to discuss all aspects of female existence. From frugal stuff to the most oppressive subjects. We need to talk about our needs and lives. I am passionate about us!
